Season's Greetings
« on: December 24, 2016, 03:18:52 CST »
I just wanted to wish all my new friends and fellow Gatchaman fans all the best for the festive season!

I hope you all have a chance to catch up with loved ones, eat too much and enjoy some festive cheer (or alcohol!).

Have a Merry Christmas, and I wish you all health and prosperity for 2017.

A hot Christmas for us in NSW. Its Boxing day here, a relaxing day for us as a family. Leftovers for meals.

We do NOTHING but relax- my kids play with the zillion toys we now have in the house between 4 kids. Indoors to stay out of the heat until the late afternoon.
It looks like I'm going to have buy myself rollerblades to keep up with them. All four kids have them from grandma. I can skate, so it will be fun teaching them.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas Day with family. Enjoy the time!  :D

Ah, yes, the great Boxing Day tradition: leftovers. :)

It's been a modest Christmas here. I made turkey sausages for my Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Christmas Eve barbecue, which all got devoured by hungry fire fighters. Thankfully we haven't had any call-outs to fires over the holiday thus far. Also no emergency calls for sick or injured wildlife, so that constitutes a happy Christmas for me!

The biggest meal in my household yesterday was consumed by Jarrah, the 19-year-old Western Grey Kangaroo, who turned up around 8 pm and managed to get through 2 scoops of Skippy Mix and 1 of pellets (he's geriatric, so he needs the extra protein.) Echo the Barn Owl got a Huntsman Spider from Santa (it turned up in his aviary so he killed and ate it) and the dogs got chew toys. We also got a visit from a massive Southern Heath Monitor who may well have been the Christmas Goanna, but I didn't have a camera on me.

Hope everyone else is enjoying the break.
